https://www.facebook.com/groups/THEONEGOSPEL/members/I watched a video last night entitled "Don't Box Me In!" It was delivered by Pastor Byrd of an Adventist Church. The mention of denomination is to make a POINT!
The word was so POWERFUL and filled with TRUTH in DELIVERY it was such a BLESSING! He talked about how traditions are ruining the BODY OF CHRIST and losing so many souls because of OLD MINDSETS!
It was a RHEMA WORD! My thought was this....if I was one that did not understand Kingdom Building my blessing would have been missed because of the deliverer's denomination. His message was truly one that we who are professing to be about GOD'S BUSINESS GET WITH THE PROGRAM!
There is a quote: Doing the same thing and expecting a different result is 'INSANITY!"
It is relative...people are sitting in their respective choices of worship leadings and yearning, hungry for something MORE!
CHURCH AS USUAL IS NOT WORKING IN A LOT OF AREAS BECAUSE OF TRADITIONS!
The thing that AMAZES me is that JESUS WAS THE MOST NON-TRADITIONAL PREACHER THERE WAS. HE WAS IN THE STREETS WHEREVER THE BROKEN-HEARTED, LAME, DEMON POSSESSED etc. were.
Sunday, Saturday mornings are not enough....there are people waiting on you OUTSIDE! Auxiliaries are one thing but ministry is another.......those OF US who are coming TO FELLOWSHIP are suppose to get it and BRING IT TO THE WORLD and MINISTRY IS OUTSIDE OF YOUR PLACE OF WORSHIP and your responsibility to minister to the people who does not LOOK, DRESS, or even think like you!
